Take a peek at this close-up shot I took on the evening walk – a baby woodchuck. It’s nothing special that I saw a chuck, there are plenty on the property, but it is rare that they stick around long enough for a picture – they usually scurry their fat little bodies away in a hurry. The babies don’t know any better yet. I snapped another close-up shot of a baby woodchuck June 14, 2006… but not nearly as close as this one!
I’m also posting updated shots of the baby House Finches that are living in one of our hanging baskets. Incredible how quickly their fuzz has turned to feathers.
